A lot of the time, clutter can accumulate and before you know it, you have no idea where it came from or how it got there. Before it takes over your home, try minimizing it with our tips!
- While we can all appreciate getting things for free, sometimes we don’t necessarily need these free things. If you attend some sort of event that passes out items for free, consider if you actually need that item or not. If not, respectfully decline and move on.
- Some of the items we have in our home we don’t need constantly. If you are doing some yardwork, but don’t have any of the equipment, consider renting them or borrowing them from a friend. Not only will this reduce the clutter at your home, but you’ll also be saving money! Other items that can be borrowed instead of purchased are books. Books tend to pile up when they’re not being read.
- If you have the option, opt in for emails and opt out of mailings. Much like books, mail and magazines can quickly accumulate.
